The Effekta bt batteries are valve-regulated and maintenance-free agm batteries (lead-fleece technology). The gases produced in the battery are converted into water by the design of the housing, thus ensuring that the battery is maintenance-free. A valve regulation system protects against overcharging.
The battery has a robust design and can be operated in any position thanks to the lead-fleece technology. The robust housing material is impact- and break-resistant as well as corrosion- and ageing-resistant.
Thanks to the special lead alloy, the battery has a very low self-discharge rate of less than 3% per month.
Deep discharge should be avoided even with such a high-quality battery!
