Effekta Batteries are Absorbent Glass Mat (agm) batteries. These agm batteries are leak-proof and achieve low self-discharge because the electrolyte is bound in glass fiber fleece.
The front terminal batteries from Effekta are identical in construction to the conventional btl types, but the special requirements for installation or connection of the terminal types are taken into account. The design is optimized for use in 19" cabinets.
